Francesca Falli’s solo exhibition
April, 14th – 27th, 2018
Vernissage: Saturday, 14th April H.06.30 p.m.
Francesca Falli lives and works in L’Aquila (Italy). She studied advertising and graphics at the European Institute of Design in Rome and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts
The activity of graphic designer did not prevent her from regularly feeding her original artistic research. The cross contamination between the two disciplines has indeed been enriched in recent times: at this moment her reflection/experimentation is aimed at digital collage and graphicdesign has a fundamental role in her works.
The earthquake that struck the city of L’Aquila in April 2009 destroyed herlaboratory making traditional work tools unusable.
The earthquake has also deeply affected her state of mind, causing her to produce works that evoke scenarios dominated by chaos, uncertainty, indefiniteness, RE-CONSTRUCTION of the soul, fragmentary, which refer to the transformations suffered by her hometown.
