Giulio Centurelli was born in 1978 in Bergamo, where he lives and works.
A self-taught artist, he began his artistic career with poetry and photography, driven by a profound personal examination of existence and the complex relationship between himself and society. In constant search for an expressive method that completes him, he dedicates his life first to painting, with “Ferite”, and then to iron working, with “Ruggine”, which spontaneously conveys human existence, a theme to which the artist is closely bound. This concept is amplified and elevated by his current experimentation “Epifragma”, which Centurelli describes in the following manner:
“Epifragma is an attempt to express a form of life, a latent and imaginary existence which transforms and breathes in its solitude…[…]”.
